We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights at the end of January. We were in room 2 which is located on the side street. The room had everything we needed: fridge, a/c, tv, great wifi, safe, beds and bathroom. We did find the beds a bit harder then we were used to but our bodies quickly adjusted and it... More

The rooms were decent and had flat-screen tvs. Drinking water available on each floor. Great 24 hour panaderia with good coffee half a block away. One block from ADO dropoff. Suprisingly quiet rooms. I would go back for 60 a night. If you aren't too old, go hit Tribeca on 12th after 11 pm.

We stayed here for only one night at the end of a wonderful week on the Riviera Maya. The hotel was very charming. We stayed in room 10 on the 3rd floor. Our room was spacious with a fridge and coffee maker. There was drinking water on every floor. There is not an elevator, but the strong guy at the...

Stayed in the penthouse suite May 2013 for 5 nights. It was 90 degrees Fahrenheit and humid. After getting way too much sun the room was an oasis. The AC and ceiling fan cooled the room quickly and we slept soundly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. For the price we were very happy and would stay here again.

If you are looking for an affordable hotel in an ideal location in Playa Del Carmen, look no further. Hotel Delfin is located on a corner one block from the beach just off popular 5th Avenue with its great bars, restaurants, and shops. I had a great stay at Hotel Delfin. The hotel is beautifully covered in bougainvillea plants and located on the corner of fifth avenue, just one block away from the beach. Rooms are simple, but have all the stuff you'll need: fridge, good wi-fi reception, air conditioning, hair dryer and daily cleaning service. Daniel and Miriam are friendly and very... More

I spent two weeks my cousin in a two-bed room facing the side street. Upon arrival, the nice lady from the counter welcomed us and helped us a with our backpacks. I could directly access WIFI and it worked perfectly all the time. The rooms are basic, but with all the essentials: refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer, wardrobe and enough... More

European style hotel on 5th avenue & calle 6 norte. The hotel is in a prime location! The beach is only a 20 second walk, and shops and food surround you. The hotel is four stories high. The top floors have large balconies with amazing views! The outside of the hotel is completely covered in green foliage. I've stayed here... More

“Best find!”

  Reviewed December 11, 2013

We tried to get a private room in one of the nice hostels in playa but they where booked out and would have cost us $50 per night. Dragging our bag around town in and out of hotels asking for a good rate this one jumped out at us for $45 per night right smack bang in the middle of...More

What a wonderful place Playa del Carmen is. My buddy and I bought airfare only and hopped around a bit we stayed here our last two nights. Noise not really an issue if you close the window plus it is low season --more families so 5th ave dies out around 11. Clean rooms has what you need for 60 bucks...More
